Pay Scale: Technician C: Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- plus allowances as admissible under Central Government.
Candidates selected for Stipendiary Trainees Category II, will have to undergo a training of two years duration with an stipend of Rs. 6200/- per month for first year and Rs. 7200/- per month for second year. On successful completion of training, the Stipendiary Trainee Category II shall be absorbed in the
posts as Technician “B” with a pay scale of Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 2000/-, and Technician “C” with a pay scale of Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-.
Age Limit: Maximum 27 years for Technician C ; Minimum 18 years and Maximum 22 years for Stipendiary Trainee Category II as on 18-March-2016. However, relaxation in upper age limit applicable as per government rules.
Educational Qualification: Technician C- Candidates must have passed HSC (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) or SSC (Science and Maths) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate; and have ITI Certificate of minimum one year duration in respective trade. Candidates should have minimum four years of experience in the relevant trade after completion of the ITI course.
Stipendiary Trainee Category II- Candidates must have passed HSC (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) or SSC (Science and Maths) with minimum 60% marks in aggregate; and have ITI Certificate of minimum two year duration in respective trade; OR ITI in the relevant trade of one year duration plus one year relevant experience after completion of the course.
