Army Welfare Education Society invites applications from eligible candidates for screening exam for short-listing of candidates to fill up Teacher (PGT, TGT, PRT) vacancies for academic year 2017-18.

There are 137 Army Public Schools located in various Cantonments and Military Stations across India including North East. Screening Exam will be conducted in 61 various cities throughout India. Army Public Schools are administered and managed by local Army authorities and affiliated to CBSE through Army Welfare Education Society.
Subjects: English, Hindi, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Psychology, Commerce, Computer Science/ Informatics, Home Science, Physical Education.
Contract Period: All PGTs will be appointed on regular basis subject to one year probation extendable up to two years.
50 % of TGTs (including activity teacher) held on the rolls of any school will be regular as per seniority. Others will be on 3 years contract (if CTET/TET qualified) which will be extendable.
30 % of PRTs (including activity teacher) held on the rolls of any school will be regular as per seniority. Others will be on 3 years contract (if CTET/TET qualified) which will be extendable.
PGT- Post Graduation with minimum 50% marks and B Ed with minimum 50% marks.
TGT & PRT- Graduation with minimum 50% marks, and B Ed with minimum 50% marks.
Age Limit: 40 years except for NCR schools where the upper age limit for TGT/ PRT should be 29 years and for PGT 36 years.
Candidates having minimum 5 (five) years teaching experience in the last 10 (ten) years can apply up to 57 years of age.
Fee: Rs. 600/- through using Credit card/ Debit card/ Net Banking and Cash through Challan at any of the designated SBI bank branch.
Note: CTET/ TET conducted by state governments is mandatory for TGTs/ PRTs to be appointed Regular/Contractual. However CTET/ TET is not mandatory for appearing in CSB Screening exam.
