Assam Public Service Commission invites application from Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for the under-mentioned posts under Assam Government.

Name of the Post: Inspector of Schools/District Elementary Education Officer/Deputy Director under Assam Education Service.
Number of Post & Reservation: 8 nos (ST(P)-0, ST(H)-1, SC-0, OBC/MOBC-1, UR-6) There shall be 30% reservation for women candidates and 3% reservation for physically handicapped candidates as admissible as per Rule/Govt. policy in respect of all categories.
Scale of Pay: Rs. 12,000- 40,000/-+ GP Rs. 6,300/-+ Other allowances as admissible.
Age: Maximum upper age should not be more than 43 years as on 03-03-2016. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST Candidates.
Educational Qualification: Second class Master Degree having uniformly brilliant Carrier and possessing teaching experience in School or College for 10(ten) years or administrative experience for 10(Ten) years of which 5(five) years must be in teaching.
