Applications are invited from eligible and interested students for enrollment in Govt. Polytechnics of Assam for the Session 2017-18 under Tution Fee Weaver Scheme (TFW) Scheme.
Eligibility for Applying under TFW scheme.
I] The candidates must have appeared Polytechnic Admission Test [PAT]-2017.
II] The family Income of the parents from all sources must be less than Rs. 6.00 lakhs per annum.
A) Family Income certificate from the competent Authority/ Authorities.
[Multiple Income Certificate(s) will have to be produced in case of more than one income source].
B) PAN Card of the earning parent(s)/ Occupation Certificate in case of Farmer, Daily wage Earner etc. from Panchayat/ Municipality Board/ Village Head.
C) Form-16 of last three years of payment for service holders.
D) Income Tax Return of last three years of parents with Business Profession.
E) Affidavit by the parents regarding Family Income in Non Judicial Stamp Paper.
III] Candidate must be a Permanent Resident of Assam.
Conditions for admission:
A] The seats under the scheme are supernumerary.
B] The selection for admission will be strictly based on marks secured in PAT-2017.
C] Candidates once admitted under this scheme will not be allowed Inter- Institutional transfer/ branch change under any circumstances.
D] The waiver is limited to the tuition fee as approved by Govt. of Assam. All other fee [except tuition fee] will have to pay by the beneficiary.
E] All other conditions for the students applying under TFW scheme will be same as for other candidate as mentioned in Information Brochure of PAT-2017.
How to apply: Candidates may apply in the prescribed Format of application as available in the website www.dteassam.in and submit the filed in form along with relevant documents to reach at the following address from 19-06-2017 to 23-06-2017.
The envelope containing the form must be superscripted “APPLICATION FOR TFW SCHEME FOR POLYTECHNICS”.
