Name of the Post: Senior Grade of Indian Information Service.
Total no. of post: 72 Nos.

Educational Qualification:
(i) Degree of a recognized University or Institute.
(ii) Diploma/ Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism/ Mass Communication from a recognized University/Institution. OR Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from a recognized University/ Institute. The Candidates must have studied concerned Indian language upto 10th Class.

Experience: Two years experience of journalistic, publicity or public relation work in Government 
Department/ Public Sector Undertaking/ Autonomous Organisation/ News agency/ Newspaper registered with the Registrar of News papers of India (RNI) / any other 
Listed Private Organization.

Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 30 years. Upper age relaxation for OBC Candidates is 3 years, for SC/ ST Candidates is 5 years & for PH Candidates is 10 years.

Selection Process: Selection will be made based on Written Test & Interview.

Application Fee: Rs. 25/- either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/ master credit/ debit card. SC/ ST/ PH/ Women candidates are exempted from application fee.

How to Apply:
i) Candidates must apply online through the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in. Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected.
ii) Candidates must upload documents pertaining to educational qualification(s) and experience (preferably in prescribed format), if any, as claimed in the online application, in a single pdf file in such a way that the file size does not exceed 2 MB and is legible when a printout taken. For that the applicant may scan the experience certificate in 200 dpi grey scale. Documents like Pay Slip, Resume, Appointment Letter, Relieving Letter, Un-signed Experience Certificate etc. must not be uploaded in the Document Upload Module.
