INDIAN COAST GUARD Recruitment for Yantrik- 2016: Diploma Holders - 01/2017 Batch.

Indian Coast Guard invites application from eligible male candidates having three year Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering for the post of Yantrik in the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union. The basic training will commence in February 2017 at INS Chilka followed by sea training and professional training. Course commencing FEBRUARY 2017.

Name of the Post: Yantrik (Technical Diploma Holders).

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 22 years. Applicants must have been born in between 01-02-1995 to 31-01-1999. There will be relaxation in upper age of 5 years for SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates.

Academics: The applicants must have passed matriculation examination and have completed 3 years full time Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering with minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ ST category candidates) of marks to be eligible to apply.

Scale of Pay: Rs. 5200-20200/-+ GP Rs. 2400/-+ Dearness Allowance, Kit Maintenance Allowance and other liberal allowances as admissible.

Recruitment Centres: Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Kochi, Visakhapatnam, Gandhi Nagar, Noida and Paradip.

Promotions: The candidates who will be selected as Yantriks can receive promotion till the level of Pradhan Sahayak Yantrik with a grade pay of Rs.9300-Rs.34800 plus Grade pay of Rs.4800/-.

Important Instructions.
(i) Selection of candidates is based on the order of merit depending on their performance in written test, physical test (PFT) and fitness in the medical examinations.
(ii) The Coast Guard reserves the right to cancel/reconduct the examination of a particular Centre or change the Centre of the candidates for administrative/other reasons.
(iii) Mere declaration of fit in initial medical examination does not indicate selection of the candidate for the final medical at INS Chilka.
